Stay at The Duck Inn

At The Duck Inn Lodge, each room is a calming refuge after a day in Whitefish or Glacier National Park. Plush mattresses, generous bathrooms, and features ranging from in-room fireplaces to jacuzzi tubs and 180° views. Whether traveling as a couple, with friends, or with family, there's a room for every kind of stay.

King

A king room on the top floor of the lodge. The in-room fireplace warms cool evenings, a private balcony with outdoor seating opens off the room, and the bathroom has a tub and shower combined. Quiet, comfortable, and one of the simpler rooms at the lodge.

Queen & Bunk Room

A queen bed and a wooden bunk bed share the room, sleeping four. A gas fireplace anchors the opposite wall, with private access to a balcony with outdoor seating. Built for families or small groups.

King w/ River View

Similar to our King room with a balcony that opens onto the Whitefish River, with outdoor seating for the view. Inside, a king bed, a gas fireplace with slate surround, and a tub-shower bathroom. The view is the point.

Deluxe King w/ River View

A king bed, a gas fireplace, and a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The balcony opens onto the Whitefish River, with the lower-floor location putting the water close enough to hear at night. End-of-day soaks, with the river running just outside.

Apgar King w/ Mountain & River Views

A king room on the top floor, with outdoor seating on the balcony and both river and mountain views beyond. Inside, an in-room fireplace and a standard tub-shower bathroom. One of the only rooms at the lodge where you see both the water and the peaks.

Izaak King w/ River View & Vaulted Ceilings

A king room on the ground floor with vaulted ceilings and a wide river view. Relax in the jacuzzi tub with a shower in the bathroom, an in-room fireplace, and a desk in the corner. The perfect place to rest after a day in Whitefish.

Oberlin King w/ 180° River Views

A king room on the lower floor, set in the end unit with 180° views of the riverbend. Inside, soak in the jacuzzi tub, warm up by the in-room fireplace, and step onto the private balcony for the view. The widest river view at the lodge, for couples after a day outside.

Logan Suite w/ King Bed & Jacuzzi

A king suite on the lower floor with a jacuzzi tub right in the room next to the fireplace. Slip in for a soak with the fire going, then step out to the private balcony overlooking the river. Our romantic pick at the lodge, perfect for couples on a getaway.

Belton Family Suite w/ King, Queen, & Bunk Bed

A two-bedroom suite on the top floor, with a king in one room and a queen plus bunks in the other. Gather around the in-room fireplace, then turn in across the suite for the night. Built for families with kids or groups traveling together, sleeping up to six.

Yellowstone Suite w/ Two Queen Beds & Living Area

The largest room at the lodge, with a full living room downstairs and a bedroom with two queens upstairs. Spread out downstairs, head up to sleep, or pull out the couch-bed for a fifth person. Built for longer stays or groups wanting more room than a standard suite.

The Whole Lodge

The Duck Inn is available as a full-property rental, perfect for family reunions, ski trips with friends, group retreats, and milestone celebrations. Take over all sixteen rooms and the lodge's common spaces, with the Whitefish River running just past the back lawn and Whitefish Mountain seven miles up the road. The inn sleeps up to forty-four.
